I’ve heard myself be described as “butch” or “masc”, but that’s not really how I want to present myself. I feel pretty neutral, but I know people want you to exist on the scale and I’d love to have some sort of reference point. I’ve tried to dress “more femme” lately. Like buying tighter jeans, shirts that fit a little better, wearing thongs to hook-ups, lacey bras, etc. And it feels nice, I feel sexier, but I still feel that everyone sees me as very masculine and it kind of irks me. It seems like there’s nothing I can do about how I’m perceived.
I want either advice on how to accept myself and/or what type of arbitrary lesbian term I fit under, i.e. femme, masc, stem, butch, dyke, blahblahblah.
Here are some pictures for you to form an opinion:
And yes yes I know, “You should smile more.” I’m working on it, spare me.
