Looking for clues

I’m normally straight but have met a lesbian that I’m extremely attracted to. We’ve started spending a lot of time together socially - we even went out of town together shortly after meeting and shared a room - 100% platonic and I left feeling disappointed that we didn’t take advantage of the circumstance. I feel like there’s a mutual attraction but we have a family member in common (how we met) and maybe both of us are afraid of making things weird if we act on it and the other person is not on board?!? Maybe I’m not her type and it would make it weird if i approached her? We are the same age and have a lot in common so if she’s just enjoying our friendship I don’t want to ruin that. Help!
