I'm a black 22F living in southern US & I have liked girls for as long as I can remember. I've tried so hard to force myself to be with men & I'm tired of doing that. I come from a family that openly makes homophobic comments & jokes, they always have all of my life. I live with my immediate family with my daughter just because it's what's easiest right now & I have to live a completely separate life when l'm home or simply with them. Is it pointless to pursue companionship? Would anyone even want to put up with the fact that I haven't came out & my family is homophobic?
