UPDATE!!!

recently me and another childhood best friend I kept in touch with reached out to another childhood best friend, she moved to Georgia and I didn't have a phone at the time so we lost contact. it's been at least 7 years since we last talked. she was the person who made me realize I like women, my first crush and my first kiss. our first kiss happened when a boy in our class was being homophobic so we kissed to piss him off then we just kinda realized we liked kissing each other. we started texting about a month and a half ago, it was really nice and we shared a lot of memories. she's doing well and we have been flirting back and forth, she's eventually admitted she thinks I'm attractive and now we're flirty. this feels like a cliche movie thing but I'm down with it :)

update: we're officially dating now :)))
