2 big and obvious reasons this will happen and in a divorce for Trump and Musk.
Musk LOVES to take credit for everything and act like the brains of any operation. Trump equally does, but he is the actual president so it defaults to him in reality.
Trump's orbit wants their positions and authority with Trump to be maintained. Musk threatens that on top of him being just insanely over the top. He's always been over promise under deliver and that will cause more problems for the admin. So it's best to get rid of him before he even gets a chance to do anything.
