Hey guys,
I have a craptop (A lenovo T420) that I bring with me on long flights as an anxiety reducer. When I can work on my code and Excel documents, it makes 9 hours whiz by and reduces the anxiety I get towards turbulence.
I have a 12-hour flight booked for early September which I just realized only furnishes the seats with USB-C USB outlets, not power outlets. If my T420 isn't connected to a power source, it throttles the CPU heavily causing it to be almost unusable, and the battery drains quickly because it's quite old.
The T420 uses the barrel-type power connector. I saw online that I can purchase a slew of adapters to eventually get it to connect to USB-C, but will it work? Will it be able to draw enough power from the USB-C?
I want to know my best plan before I go ahead and buy all these different dongles and adapters.
Thanks so much!
