Help with Lenovo yoga 730-151kb will not power on

cannot powrer laptop on at all....raned i bought thr targus universal laptop power adapter and it hss the corrct specs on wattage volts and correct adapter but tstill no power lights or sound or snything just completr silence....i kinda wonder even if targus says it will work for my lsptop if maybe all it reslly is the issue of not hsving thr originsl ac adapter? Anyone else had issues with getting thid model to power on
