Has anyone here seen the anime series Avatar the Last Airbender? If so, you may recall the city of Omashu. I propose we turn the city into something that looks like the image pictured. Here is a shitty paint depiction of what i have proposed. It would mean a retaining wall like this on the exterior of the moat structure. Then, surrounding the island, a wall of some sort. This wall has yet to be designed and i would like to see what other people could come up with. In the ring, there would be lava and other such perils. This would go down to Bedrock, so it would seem like a bottomless chasm for those who cross over the bridges and rails into the island. This would enable better protection as well. With Bastion enabled, we can quickly destroy our bridges and other such enterences into the island to enable a full lockdown of the town. As such, archers can take up spots on the walls to enable optimum protection of the city. The wall would be so high, that pearls would not be able to breach her bounds. An invading force would find it very difficult to breach the city and her buildings. Any thoughts?
