Might be long and rambling idk. I got an ampallang done a month ago. Healing nicely and have been ready to put a shorter bar in. The short bar the piercer gave me is barely long enough when I am soft. The long bar is to long when I am erect. What would be the best way to properly measure for a proper sized bar. I was thinking, become erect, place a dot on the long barbell where the bar meets skin when the other side is "snug", and measuring the bar to get the length I need. Is that possible or is there another way that is easier or more accurate? Also do I measure just the bar minus the threaded balls or measure the bar and balls. My piercer is hardly ever in the shop as he is the owner and enjoying the perks of the shop running I guess, the other piercers have been helpful but seem to just guess on the size which I really don't want 2-3 barbells that are to big or to small to just find the right one.
Also is there a good website to order off of. Did check out several on the side bar and couldn't find what I was looking for.
