Hi everyone, I'd really appreciate some help here...I was talking a walk on my property today (Hudson Valley, NY) Southern New York, and I happened to find a bunch of clam shells. I have found 8 a few days ago, and I actually found a few more today. However, when I found the original 8, I also found a couple of pieces of black Obsidian.
I'm pretty sure this is NOT native to this area whatsoever.
I'd also like to add that these were found in an area thats ground has been ripped up due to construction and its a stones throw from a tributary knowingly used by native americans.
Is it possibly I have discovered an archeological sight on my property?
