Hi! I went looking for artifacts today and I happened across some interesting stuff including some petrified wood.
This specifically stuck out to me as I noticed that on both sides of this piece, the edges were somewhat serrated, and the edges were ground down on both sides. Further, I have the perfect spot to put my thumb comfortably and wedge it between my index finger. I should say that I found this amongst many oyster shells in a flat area not too far from a major tributary used by the Mohegans.
Please tell me I found something.
P.S. (excuse me drawing over my nails, embarrassed because I bite them a lot)
