Hey yall I know this is a long shot but I recently fell in love with legion Imperialis, I have some standard knowledge of wargamming because I got into warhammer 40K about a year ago but the scale of epic scale wargamming really caught my eye. I wanted to make this post to ask to see if anyone was trying to get out of the hobby in would be willing to give me their army, or even any sort of troops or just something to get me started. I tried making a post about this in my college’s subreddit but apparently I didn’t have enough karma. So I’m trying it here I know this sounds like free loading but as a broke college student I don’t really have the founds to branch of into another war game right now, but I’ve been in the hobby long enough to know that people do sometimes give their armies to people that are willing to continue to use them, that how I was able to get an small ork band for my little brother that we have been growing ever since. Anyway any help is welcome including information, because I just genuinely don’t know where to start apart from just getting the starting box set, like is their different factions like 40K, or can you just buy whatever you think looks cool and build an army based of that for example I saw the war master titan but I didn’t know if you could only use that if you had sons of Horus models, or if you could also use it in a solar auxiliary army. Or some planes like the avenger strike fighters and xiphon interceptors really caught my eye, but I didn’t know if I could have them in the same army. I am so sorry that this is such a long post but I genuinely fell in love with this game and I want to play and learn more about it. Thank you so much for your responses and time!
