So far all the custom data sheets I’ve created 9 fluffy weapon traits to make Combat more engaging and each Primarch more unique. These have been refined over the last few days. The only Primarchs to be actually played have been Guilliman and Perturabo. They performed quiet well and were worth the points. Below are all the fluffy weapon Traits to spice things up.
Sundering: When a model makes a Fight roll using a weapon with this Trait, for each consecutive Fight that is won, add 1 to the results to a maximum increase of 6.
Precision: During a Fight, you may re-roll any results of a one or two when using a weapon with this Trait. This Roll cannot itself be used to generate further re-rolls.
Fury Strike: After the first Fight roll against this model has been resolved, for each subsequent Fight roll that is made using a weapon with this Trait, add 1 to the results up to a maximum increase of 3.
Parry (#): After a Fight roll has been made using a weapon with this Trait, you may choose to add to the Rolls total equal to the shown number. If done so, the targeted enemy model does not take any Wounds.
Decisive: If a Fight using a weapon with this Trait results in a Tie, you may instead treat it as a Win when calculating the results of a Combat.
Corrupt: If a Fight is won using a weapon with this Trait, the losing Detachment must re-roll any successful Moral checks made during the Engagement Stage. This includes both Dice if a Detachment is Broken.
Devastating: If the results of a Fight roll using a weapon with this Trait are equal to or greater than twenty, the targeted enemy model suffers an additional Wound.
Grappling: If an enemy Detachment is forced to Withdrawal from a Combat, any models of equal Scale or smaller that are in base to base contact with a model equipped with a Grappling weapon do not move, and are instead Destroyed.
Shock (#): When a Fight roll is made using a weapon with this Trait against a model that is Scale 3 or less, you may add to the results of the Roll up to the shown number.
Let me know any and all critique you have or suggestions. If anyone is able to help playtesting these rules and give feedback I’d be most appreciative.
