So I have a 1TB sandisk micro SD card. I’ve installed all my steam games onto it without problem. I have a bunch of gamepass games installed onto the on board memory of my legion go (1TB also).
I went into steam this morning to play death stranding and it showed that I needed to install it. Then I realized it showed none of my games installed because the SD card is not recognized.
I’ve checked in my system settings and it’s there. With all the games listed and everything. But the steam app isn’t seeing it. I’ve restarted steam, restarted the system, unplugged and plugged back in the SD card, turned the system off>removed the card>turned the system back on and put the card back in. Nothing works.
Anyone else encounter this problem?
UPDATE: Sometimes the simplest solution is the correct one. There must have been an update of some sort because I just randomly decided to go into my storage settings in steam (not big picture mode) and I just had to "re-choose" the sd card as a storage option. No idea why it was no longer there. Then all the game I had installed popped right up as playable again.
