Fear of loose controllers is stopping me from buying

I don’t know how prevalent loose/wobbly controllers is, but from my experience with similar mechanisms like on Switch and phone attachments I know it’s inevitable. For those of you whose controllers loosened up and wobble, did the controllers get loose within the mechanism itself and there’s play there or does it just wobble because the pieces are plastic and there will always be some movement with a heavy device?
