One Card, One Archetype
Post Body

If you could bring one card from another game to help one archetype, what would it be? That’s not to say your particular card COULDN’T be good in other builds, but you see it being the most powerful in the chosen archetype.

Personally, I think a Polymorph style effect would be great for Predict, allowing you to set up some wicked fast starts in a fully committed Predict deck. For those not aware, Polymorph is a card in MtG that has you sacrifice a creature in order to peel cards from the top of your deck until you hit a creature, then you put it onto the battlefield. And while Predict decks don’t have the most insane powerhouses in the game, I think that justifies a Polymorph-like effect. But getting Ekko out a turn or two earlier or even ripping a Kahiri that you’ve seen in a Prediction even once on turn 3 could really help.

A Polymorph type effect would also open up strange builds where you run only huge units and utilize spells to summon units to sacrifice to Polymorph, allowing you to throw down a turn 5 ASol.

To balance the card, it would have to be Slow speed (I’m envisioning its first iteration to be in spell form) and you would have to Obliterate cards that weren’t Units in your deck. Polymorph digs until it finds the creature, nuking useful cards with all your hopes riding on that one big Unit.

I’m really curious what kinds of cards people would love to see in Runeterra. And if it isn’t already obvious, these cards you would LIKE to see in Runeterra, not cards that would warp the fabrics of the game and completely ruin it for everyone. Let’s have some fun!

(Also, if this is supposed to be tagged as something else, my bad. I’d like to try and keep my testicles somewhat intact today)
