Spells casted while lux is onboard do not contribute to her level up or post level up counter if the spell is countered.

Lux specifically reads "When I see you spend 6 mana to cast spells...". It doesn't say anything about them resolving, just to cast spells using mana.
I had the displeasure of having my For Demacia! Denied and the mana spent did not count for Lux. Either this is a bug or the wording definitely needs changed.
