They announced that the bard skin was getting upgraded tomorrow in the patch notes. So I said “fools now I’m going to buy it right now and get it upgraded for free!”

But now that I’m having post good deal clarity I’ve realized I wouldn’t have bought it if they didn’t do that. I don’t play Bard.

So did I get outplayed by a marketing scheme or did they make a mistake?

If I remember correctly sandstorm ekko and pyke were leaked by a non-riot party. Bought those. Haven’t used either. World walker Elise was upgraded but they just said “a skin will be upgraded” so I didn’t buy it.
