Hello,
So the situation is, we are currently renting in London. Our kitchen really needed a redo (it was in a bad state, but still very usable). So the landlord decided to redo the kitchen completely. Strip it all out and put a new one in.
This is fine with us, but it has meant we had to endure ~10 days without any way of cooking. This has meant that we've had to eat out or order in and we believe we are owed compensation for this disruption, especially in a COL crisis.
What laws/right do we have to demand compensation from our landlord?
