Hi all. basically the title:
I had a flight booked to return from a holiday (Italy to the UK), on the morning I was mean to fly the airline cancelled the flight home - no explanation given. They offered us a flight at the same time next week instead. I couldn't miss a week of work so I spent about £400 getting home the next day, (hotel transfer flight). I contacted the airline customer service who were initially slow to respond but did get back to me saying that they owe me the money and asking for payment details. I sent these, and now they haven't responded in 2 months despite weekly emails from me.
Any advice for how to proceed would be appreciated.
