I live in England.
I am considering taking legal action against my landlord.
I live in a flat rented through a housing association. I have lived here 6 years.
There is a well known drug dealer staying opposite me in a flat also by the same housing association. He has threatened me and intimidated me after I complained to the H.A about his behaviour. This guy deals drugs outside the property, gets the local teenagers involved, sometimes younger kid's, he blasts loud music to the point where we can all hear it even with our windows shut and telly up full we can still hear thump thump thump from this guy's music.
The guy in question is known to the police, does have a record, he has had about 3 or 4 cars in the 2 years he's been living across from me.
I have already expressed my concerns for my safety and others who stay close to this unsavoury character
The housing association have spoken to him twice but he's still behaving as he was before, if anything, it's got worse.
I am considering taking legal action against my housing association over safeguarding issues as the block of flats where this guy lives is mostly lives in by elderly, middle aged people.
