Vehicles being abandoned in our small street that don't belong to anyone nearby.

Post Body

I live in a small cul-de-sac with very little parking (22 properties and only space for 15 vehicles). There is no space to park on the road connected to the cul-de-sac so if you're unable to park your car here then you have to leave it a 5 minute walk away in another street which has a high rate of vandalism. My car has been vandalised twice there and I know of 5 of my neighbours who have had similar problems.

90% of the time parking isn't an issue, many of my neighbours don't own a vehicle. But recently white vans and other vehicles have been appearing that don't belong to any of the neighbours here. They're sometimes being abandoned for several months at a time. This is forcing more and more neighbours out of the cul-de-sac into the risky street and somebody else has had their car vandalised recently. I've seen the same people getting in an out of a lot of the vehicles so I'm guessing that they're company cars, though they're unmarked so I don't know for sure. I've checked the vehicles being left here and they're not reported as stolen, have full tax and MOTs.

I know that you can park anywhere but it's causing a problem for many of us and I don't know if I can afford any more repair work on my car right now. Is there anything we can do about this?
