Our boundary is partially the wall of next-door's garage, it needs re-rendering. Who's responsibility is it?

Post Body

So basically, our garden is fenced apart from about the last 6m which is next doors garage wall. It is definitely our boundary on the deeds. It's rendered but the render is cracking and falling off, looks unsightly and leaving piles of render everywhere. They are due to be moving out soon, but I'm wondering am I responsible as it forms my boundary or are they (or new owners) responsible as it's their building?

We're in England.. BTW.

Thanks
