Hi guys so the past 2 years my mum had been living in her now home. Before moving they where offered lower tenancy if they sorted a few jobs there such as damp new carpets so they agreed. The rent would rise on 6 months and after the 6 months the landlord would then be doing all work needed on the house. So in 2 years she has never had her boiler serviced the damp has come back ten fold. She has had environmental health condemn the place and told that it wasn't fit for humans yes that was his words. So she decided she need a new place to live. Citizens advice told her to stop paying rent and to use that as a deposit for a new house. So 6 months pass mum gets a new support worker who was the most unsupportive person ever with a month mum stopped talking to her. As of January she finally found her new home and has told the landlord that the house is all theirs. A few days later she has an email from the landlord telling her that her support worker has told her where she lives and how much her wages are so she will be getting the bailiffs involved. Surely the support worker who doesn't work for the council has no right to do this. The support worker also rang up the council about it and told universal credit so her universal credit has now been suspended not that she's claiming anything she isn't she works 10 jobs a week and barely has enough to survive.
What are her rights regarding the social worker telling the landlord all of her information they never had an agreement where she could do this
Sorry for the long story just a very stressful time Thanks guys and gals
