Hi all. I have been experiencing a number of power cuts whilst working from home this week, totally the fault of the power grid and nothing to do with my house or supply to my house.
My employer has asked me to work from home during the pandemic.
They are also saying I will either be taking the time of the power cuts unpaid or will have to work it back. I have offered to return to the office whilst Norther Power Grid fixes the issue but they said that is not permitted.
Where do I stand on being forced to take this time unpaid? Money and time is tight and it would be a real kick to have to work it back or take unpaid.
TIA
