Housemate opened previous tenants mail by mistake and it bailiffs

Post Body

We moved into a student/shared house in July and received a red and white urgent letter of which my housemate didn’t realise was addressed to a previous tenant so they opened it. The letter was a final warning saying assets will be seized, so rather than resealing the letter and sending it back, we’ve contacted the bailiff to explain as I work Mon-Friday 9-5 and don’t want to come home to my stuff gone. Will she get in any trouble for accidentally opening his mail?
