Post Body

I subleased a room in my 2 bedroom flat to a single male who was my friend even if it was without the knowledge of my landlord. I gave him a 4 weeks notice that I’m leaving and informed the letting agency. We split all bills in and rent. I didn’t charge deposit from him being my friend and expected things should go on well. The issue arises when he was complaining that he couldn’t get a place as he wanted to leave by month end. I told him that’s not possible as I’ve sent the 28 days notice. We are to leave tomorrow and he has packed his stuff but insists he wants time get part of his money back as there’s still 5 more days. He pays £300 monthly which I pay the other half. I told him some things are in the house which has to be fixed and I’ll refund him when the letting agency gets back to me about the cost and take it off my deposit but he said he doesn’t care and now threatening to report to the police that I subleased to him without the consent of the landlord. Would it be a case if he reports?
