England.
I have a case open as the claimant in small claims court matter. It's for a small amount owed to me but I've found the whole process a real grind and I wish, knowing what I know now, I'd not even started it.
I kept up with the proceedings initially, paying court fees etc, and there was a date set for the trial/hearing. However, I've had such a busy few weeks, and felt so confused by the whole thing, I have missed the deadline to submit documents and witness statements. They are only half complete and I lost track of the deadline
What will happen? I realise the case will fall apart and be abandoned but will I face any penalties for this, financial or otherwise?
