Amicable divorce without solicitor - feasible? (England)

Post Body

My husband and I are splitting amicably. We have no kids, and have agreed on the financial side of things.

How feasible/sensible would it be to DIY this thing?

I see we can file jointly online fairly easily, but is it worth having a solicitor to avoid mistakes?

One option for us is one of those solicitors who do amicable divorce packages where you both have the same solicitor to handle it. They mediate with you separately to check you're both in agreement and then manage the rest for you.

I know generally how it works, but is the process a bit of a minefield, or is the hardest bit getting everyone to agree (which we already have)?
