Question on Social Services Investigations

Post Body

Hello,

I just wanted to know if anybody could help me. I reported a family member to office of public guardian and adult social services. Since then I have had very odd calls and lots of spam . I'm wondering if there is a connection. Social called me to say they were taking the case on recently and I was wondering if they also call the accused in the same period to say they are being investigated or do they keep it quiet then contact them when they have done their initial findings? I'm wondering if my nuisance calls are an attempt to point score because they have been alerted to the investigation. Thanks to the community to all members that contribute to question I enjoy reading the forum and learning lots everyday.

Apologies this is in England
