Hi guys! I’ll keep the context simple but I’ve been a victim of fraud and have been robbed of effectively £2500 by an individual due to my stupidity and naivety, thankfully an experience I have learned from. Basically, following my altercations with this man I’m suspicious that he is a much worse criminal than I at first thought, and I think vengeance is possible. I have no real evidence of the fraudulent crimes due to the fact that he was clever and I was not, however towards the end I started gathering information on him. I know his physical appearance, I know he has children and a wife whom he is separated from, I also know places he frequents (specific casino in Leeds). Furthermore, I have ‘his phone number’, or a phone number linked to him, his Snapchat, an email address related to the fraudulent activity, and a registration plate for what I think is a car that is being financed with fraudulent money. What can I do with this information? Can I anonymously report him to the police and will anything be done? I’m not usually a snitch, but this man is a filthy thief who stole from me, a young vulnerable student with no money during Christmas time, so I honestly don’t care if he burns and for the sake of his young children I hope they never have to see him again for their own good. Any advice would be much appreciated thank you so much. (Little side note, I researched the number plate and found that the car was purchased in Newcastle and that his email address is not his real name as identified by my bank, so I certainly believe he is involved in quite a high level of fraudulent activity. Oh, and I also have a bank account linked to one of his accomplices, however I imagine this is in no way linked to their true identity.) unfortunately, the one thing I don’t have is a name/address, which would be vital.
