Hi everyone,
Im in Glasgow and have been trying to get legal representation to allow me to seek compensation from my housing association after direpairs have developed in to health conditions i never suffered from before. It has taken a massive toll on my mental health with constantly having to fight alone.
They neglected duties, lied, ignored everything, covered up mould disrepairs by simply painting white paint over it not killing it, no heating for years, dirty water, sewage smell coming thriugh all taps, insect infestations which has caused me to replace my furniture and carpets etc on 3 occassions as well as much more happening.
I have tried citizens advice, LSA, Govan Legal Services, shelter scotland, MPs, as well as many solicitors and law firms to no aveil as soom as they hear the company name their attitude changes instantly to not being able to help, as well as even going down tbe route of law students doing course work and doing cases through their University... Its sickening... they say do it legally but then the legal process just fails.
The housing Association refuses to deal with me and allow me to represent myself in the discussions and state it must be a solicitor for them to acknowledge. Surely not true.
Help me please
