Car accident / uninsured driver in my car

Post Body

I have lent out my car to a friend under the impression they would insure them selfs on cuvva to pick me up from a night out and to be a scapegoat from a potential domestic violent situation. They then crashed the car into two cars and a motorbike and got arrested under the impression he was drunk driving however he was not tested and was released. I however was not at the scene and was instead being physically abused by my ex partner. I went to the police station where my friend was released to get information on the release of my car and to report my situation to the police. My car is not working. It is on a pcp loan. And one of the owners of the crashed car wants to go through my insurance. What can I expect from this? We had offered to pay for any damages discreetly however they want to go through my insurance. I don’t know what the best thing for me to do in this situation. The owner of the motorbike is happy to not go through insurance and will take a pay out. In the space of one night I have become homeless with two children, looking at staying at refuges, car less with a grand debt in my overdraft and a possibility of loosing my part time job due to needed time off. I am so stressed out that I let one misjudgment on trusting this friend with my car add on a million problems to my already big problems. What way can I move forward with this.
