Hi,
I'm wondering if anyone here can recommend a good mediation service for a dispute between two brothers?
Some context; I live in France, my brother lives in the UK. It's been complicated between us for the last few years and the situation has recently gotten worse.
I have tried contacting him by telephone and messages but he doesn't reply. I'd like to work the situation out but I'm struggling because I'm so angry with him, I really think I need to get a professional involved.
There is anger and frustration because I barely get to see or talk to my nephews, despite trying to arrange times to visit by asking a long time in advance. It is worsened by the fact that he treats my parents in the same way; they barely get to see their grandchildren even though they only live about 20 miles away from my brother. In contrast however, my brother's in-laws get to see their grandchildren regularly.
There is a good relationship between my nephews and myself and between them and my parents, despite the fact that we see them so little.
Both I and my parents feel that my brother's wife is trying to isolate him from our side of the family.
If mediation doesn't help, are there any legal avenues that I could use to get access to my nephews?
Thanks in advance.
