Hey all,
Just seeing if anyone has a good insight into trial periods in contracts since they updated the legislation back in December last year looking at employment NZ website they say the trial period was only applicable to businesses with 19 or fewer employees prior to 23 December 2023. Is there still a cap on the number of employees a business can have and put this in new starts, contracts?
Haven’t been able to see anything on Employment NZ’s website about it if this is the case or not.
Any help is much appreciated
