Going to make this short , about 12 months ago (Dec 2022 Christmas week) I was made redundant as according to my employer “He was having trouble paying wages” so he made me and the other employee redundant and turned the business back into a “one man show” , all of this happened in period of a week from notice to no job. I had 5 weeks holiday pay owed and my employer asked if he could drip feed payments, I reluctantly agreed as obviously cash flow was a issue? ( also found out at he and his family went up north on holiday) I’ve had three payments in the first 6 months of 2023 , but nothing since and are still owed 2k , I’ve asked for the remainder for payment but have got a flat “no” business is apparently still recovering? I think 12 months of my patience is enough time to sort this, would like to know if I have any legal rights? who would I talk to ? Also considering debt collectors for I feel I may never see the remainder of my $$$$$$$
