NZ Knife Law-Fixed v Folder

Post Body
Hi guys, visiting next month. Doing a lot of hiking and some city days. I ALWAYS carry a folder in the US for the hell of it and a small fixed when I'm in the woods. What can I legally have in my pocket? It's not for self-defense, just for hiking and in case I need to cut something in a city environment. Looking for blade length limits etc.

I’ve sat in a park eating an apple with a folding knife and had a chat with an officer once. He just asked what I carry it for and I passed him a slice of apple. He said no thank you and then we moved on lol.
If you aren’t being an abnoxious cunt with it then it seems to be fine.
