So my parents live in a 2BHK apartment in Hyderabad. They own this apartment. There is a lady who lives in the 3BHK apartment in front of our house and she is a vile woman. They own their apartment too.
My mom had a bunch of pots in front of her house. For a couple of days a few of the pots were empty or something. A few plants died or something like that happened. I am not entirely sure of the details as I don't live with my parents. This lady got her servant to throw away all of my mom's pots without my mom's permission or even informing my mom. My mom was very upset. She used to spend a lot of her time tending to her plants. When my mom asked her why she threw away her pots, she was like those look ugly.
For the past few months she has been nagging my mom to buy a new shoe rack which we keep near our door too. She says that the shoe rack looks ugly and is right in-front of her house. We are keeping the shoe rack next to our door. Our apartment's door faces her apartment door, we have no where else to keep our shoe rack. She wants us to buy a shoe rack like the one that they own. Their shoe rack costs around 6,000 INR it seems. My mom refused to buy a new shoe rack and she said her shoe rack looks good enough.
Fast forward to today. Apparently her daughter is getting married and these people are expecting guests in their house. She goes and complains to the apartment complex's house owner association's president and that guy comes down to our house and starts talking rudely with my mom. He is like if you don't remove the shoe rack by 8:00 PM today, I will get the watchman to throw away your shoe rack. Can he legally do that as the president of the apartment owner's association? Next time something like happens, can we call the police on him? Technically he came into our apartment and was talking rudely to us. What are our legal options in this situation?
