Post Body

I just heard a strange thing from an indian colleague yesterday. He told us that he knows an indian who went from Germany to india and got stuck there. He had a job in Germany but couldnt work remotely from india cause he couold get in trouble due to indian tax laws. We told him that a european colleague was working remotely from his country. But he said it wasnt an issue because he was inside europe.

The reason I am worried about all this is because I was planning to visit my family in Pakistan for 3 weeks. I work in the Netherlands but if I get stuck in Pakistan for some reason I can work remotely in Pakistan. Are there international laws that prevent me from doing that?

I am a permanent resident in the Netherlands and a citizen of Pakistan.
