Dying rawhide, but not the usual kind.
Post Body

I'm making a viking round shield and I'm going to use rawhide dog treats as the outside edge material. Going to soak the treats then roll them out and sew them to the board of the shield. My question is for those how may have experience in dying rawhide, what is yalls preferred dye? RIT fabric dye? Does India ink work well?
