I just received an email that does have an impact (not sure if its positive or negative) informing of the acquisition of Ohio Travel Bag by Weaver Leather:

Ohio Travel Bag is proud to announce the exciting news of its acquisition by Weaver Leather LLC. Both companies have their roots in Ohio and share a deep commitment to serving our markets with reputations for quality, product selection, friendly service, and prompt shipping. Ohio Travel Bag takes great pride in our long history, and we value the customer relationships that are the foundation of our long history.

We wanted you to hear the news directly from us and share our commitment to serving you well going forward. The OTB team is thankful for your past support and excited about the future potential to support your needs more broadly as part of the Weaver Leather Supply product offering and Weaver family of brands.

At this point, all communication, orders, and shipping will continue to be handled by our team and office in Solon, Ohio with the same OTB programs and terms as your past orders. At some point In the future, the two companies will work on integration that will allow for the full product selection of both companies to be conveniently ordered and shipped together in a combined manner. Until that point, all OTB and Weaver orders will be handled separately by both companies.
