Fairly new: Scuffs on Chrome tan +Finishing supplies?

Post Body

Hi,

I've been crafting for a few months and love it. I have used mostly chrome Tanned; however, I've recently gotten some veg-tanned in. Currently I am using Horween chrome-excel, Black 4.5-5oz, and I notice that it scuffs really easily when crafting. Is this simply the quality of the leather, or should I keep products on hand for finishing?

I am getting along nicely with cutting and assembling items however, I don't know much about finishing or other tools for dealing with scuffs and other aesthetic by-products of crafting.

I have ordered Fiebings Aussie Wax and have beeswax on hand. Not sure what else I should have but I would love to see your suggestions. I will be working with VT and CT for all manner of projects, belts, backpacks, wallets, etc. All suggestions welcome

Thanks in advance!
