Hello, I was wondering if anyone had tips for getting a better “depth-effect” for areas like under the eyes and on the sides of the nose. I’m going with a necronomicon look for the front of this tally-book cover, so I can get away with things looking kind of flattened out, but I’d like to give it as much dimension as possible. With what I’ve done so far I have to hold it at a certain angle to the light to get a decent dimensional effect. (I have zero artistic background/experience so sorry if it’s something basic or obvious that I’m missing)
