Post Body

Looking to commission a leather valet tray. Links go to a few examples.

  • Type 1 - The "medium" size would be best. I like that it different from the typical square/rectangle shape.

  • Type 2 - Not sure if I'm using the right terminology, but I like the 'rusticness' of the leather on this one.

  • Type 3 - I like the stitching element, and the size (7" x 7" x 1.5") is also good.

I tend to prefer what I've seen called "tobacco" leather, or other similar colors. I'm not looking for anything high-gloss finish. That texture from the second link is my favorite.

Regarding budget, I saw these things going anywhere from $40 to $150. I'm comfortable with anything in that range.

I'm on the West Coast of the US and have no specific timeline in mind.

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Thank you to all who replied. I found a maker to work with.
