Is it safe to use Vaseline on my lamb nappa (first picture) and cow (second picture) leather jackets for conditioning. I’ve heard mixed opinions. What alternatives would you recommend for caring these two jackets?
Post Body

Is Vaseline good for keeping the leather soft or could it do damage in the long run?

I've heard mixed opinions on using this for conditioning leather jackets. Moreover, I was advised (by one leather store) to apply melted Vaseline together with lavender essential oil to a leather jacket before leaving it aside.

I used it only once on my lamb nappa jacket and twice on my cow leather jacket.
