I thought that I understand what ほど means but turns out I was wrong. I saw this sentence: 泣きたくなるほどに僕らは強くなれる I thought it means: “we can be so strong that we want to cry” but the translator says that it means:” the more want to cry the stronger we can be” But if I say:” 死ぬほど疲れた” than it means “I am so tired that I could die” So wich is right and why?
