Now that I’ve passed I can safely say that the majority of this Sub Reddit is not understanding and not forgiving to anyone, I remember posting my second tests outcome on here and of course I will admit I did say some things which were immature and did reply erratically and emotionally to some users but the need for comments like ‘haha take the bus pleb’ and ‘it’s so amazing how much self pity you have and jealousy towards your friends’ are not needed.
The second time I posted about a harsh examiner at a certain test centre and I will admit I did insult him personally but I genuinely believe he does fail many pupils taking their test and finds faults from thin air from personal experiences and their first hand accounts the responses I got were ‘I’m glad your not driving’ and ‘you’re too immature to have driving license’ were terrible things to say.
While I admit I was in the wrong for some of the things I wrote on each reddit post I really think that most people need to understand that most people on this Sub Reddit are at very impressionable ages and aren’t completely mature yet, it’s natural for them to say things with how they’re feeling at the time which could seem hurtful to some but I know 95% of them are just in a moment of being upset and feeling terrible because a driving test is a very hard thing to pass especially from seeing some posts on this sub reddit along with prolonged wait times so failing is detrimental and gives them more stress and pressure for a longer period of time compared to what it used to be like pre covid.
