Short Driver issues in Lessons
Post Body

I’ve been learning to drive since July 23, 2 hour lessons once a week. I’m 4ft 11 so a short driver. I’m not a natural driver and knew it would be a longer learning time than others.

My issues that I’m encouraging are steering. Steering is a big problem for me especially turning corners. I’ve tried feeding the wheel but I just can’t seem to grasp it and end up doing lots of little turns. I think some of this is due to me having the seat all the way forward and sorry for the TMI but have a fuller bust so i there’s not much room between me and the wheel. :/ not sure if anyone has any tips for this?!

Also having some issues with the clutch and I think this again stems from although being able to reach the pedals as comfortably as most.

I guess I’m just wondering if anyone has any tips. I end up focusing to much on these problems than then I miss / rush other parts of driving.

So if anyone has any tips that would be great!
