I'm about to enter a new senior role in the digital marketing / communication department. My new employers have already told me that I will be supervising and leading 2 teams. I don't have experience building rapport with new teams as my earlier experience I rose through the ranks and the rapport was already built along my way up.
What kind of questions should I ask my new team and how do I establish rapport to get the necessary support? I do admit sometimes I play a little too nice but it's something I'm working on.
