Advice for starting IP practice

Pakistani lawyer here. Curious what you guys think about INTA and AIPLA for connecting with prospective referrals when starting out for an IP practice. When starting out, what measures did you adopt for getting your practice started. I know that when it comes to IP, connecting with other lawyers is the biggest way to build work connections.

For me, I'm planning that it will be at least 24 months before the practice is properly profitable.

I have 4 years of post qualification experience and IP has been my specialty but primarily soft IP matters.
